Find-it is a powerful search engine for windows. Find-it will find any file, anywhere on your disk or the entire network – with whatever criteria you give. Above all: it scans files for their content. You can even look up files containing multiple terms in any desired logical combination using logical operators (and/or/no). Find-it will find content in almost any file format, even when packaged in ZIP, CAB or mail attachments, and (using a remotely controlled freeware tool) even PDFs. . Find-it only has to retransmit all of the text in bitmaps (i.e. scanned documents) contained in the customer database and some file formats in unicode.

Find-it software will find files by their content, at lightning speed, without pre-indexing! The tool will crawl through your folders or drives at high speed. If you have 20 GB of data and search for any file created in the last month that contains a special phrase, it will be found in less than a minute. If you can apply other images (e.g. file types), the scan can even finish in seconds. Even if you really have to scan all files without any issues like dates or typing even on a mediocre computer, it will process over 500 Megabytes of data per minute.

The list of found files is presented as a virtual folder, which looks similar to Windows Explorer. Found files can be copied, moved, played, viewed, compressed and processed any way you want to handle them. The list of found files can be archived for further use. The query can be cached and repeated any time you want. The list of files found can be searched for other criteria, exported to html or plain text.. nothing you can’t do.
